North Dakota State University requires graduating graduate students to record a three-minute video that reviews their dissertation research.
Look, I won't lie, this video is awkward. Despite the fact that I forgot how sentences worked when they turned on the camera, this does basically summarize my dissertation for non-academics. It is impossible to describe my 250-page dissertation in 3 minutes with any useful details so I will write an executive summary. I will share it here for those of you looking for more details in the coming weeks.
I will also work on my on-camera skills. I don't know why I struggle... I'm totally fine with public speaking. Something about having to stare into a camera freaks me out.
